This package includes an industrial strength LoRaWAN gateway that you can install yourself. It is a DIY option that does not include remote monitoring or prepaid 4G connectivity. You have to provide your own SIM card or set it to use Wi-Fi if you have that on site already.
The gateway can be installed inside for easy access, then use the 10m cable to place the LoRa antenna outside and as high as possible.
You need to purchase your own data SIM card to put in the gateway (or be in range of Wi-Fi coverage) and have 240V power at the installation site. By default the gateway is configured to work on The Things Network public access servers, which is a free access service but does not include any service level agreements (SLAs). There are alternative service providers that charge a fee for restricted access and guaranteed support and these will be more expensive and more suitable for some end users.
